Chromatin Immuno-Precipitation (ChIP)

Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) is a technique of choice to study interactions between DNA and proteins, especially when associated with DNA array analysis (ChIP on chip).
In general, DNA-protein-antibody complexes are precipitated, but specific antibodies can also be used to precipitate methylated pieces of DNA without protein interaction.

Our 5-Methylcytidine MAb, produced by the most cited clone in the litterature, is perfectly designed for this application.
