Storage conditions


For long term storage the Lithos qPCR MasterMix, 2 mM should be stored at -15 °C to -25 °C in a constant temperature freezer. When stored under these conditions the reagents are stable for 1 year.
For short term storage the Lithos qPCR MasterMix, 2 mM 2x reaction buffer, MgCl2 and the prediluted SYBR® Green I can be stored at 4 °C to 6 °C for 1 month. The Taq polymerase should be strored at -15 °C to -25 °C. The SYBR® Green I diluted in DMSO can become solid at 4 °C. At room temperature it will be liquid again.
The SYBR® Green I tube of a qPCR Core kit for SYBR® Green I should be protected from light whenever possible.

Our Lithos qPCR MasterMix, 2 mM, will allow you to achieve reliable, consistent and accurate Real-Time qPCR results for SYBR® Green and probe detection. The Lithos qPCR MasterMix, 2 mM contains enough reagents for up to 350 - 20 µl reactions using the hotstart enzyme, GoldStar® and has been validated on capillary Real-Time thermocyclers. The kit contains a 2x buffer dNTP/dUTP mix, GoldStar® and 2 mM MgCl2 tubes. Separate tube of SYBR® Green I and MgCl2 tubes are included in the kit.
