More than 10 years ago, Eurogentec developed a new purification technique based on a proprietary chromatography system, resulting in equivalent performances as those obtained using HPLC. This method allows the production of purified oligonucleotides in the same time frame as for unpurified ones.
These purified oligonucleotides, known as
OliGold®, have therefore rapidly become the high-quality standard of our oligo catalogue. Logically, most of our modified oligonucleotides are now built on our
OliGold® backbone (See our large scale chapter for scales above 1 µmol).
We offer a choice of synthesis scales ranging from 40 nmol to 50 µmol, and higher. All oligonucleotides are delivered in a lyophilized form, accompanied by a Technical Data Sheet detailing the quantity in µg, nmol and OD260 units, the molecular weight, Tm and extinction coefficient. The oligonucleotide sequence as introduced in the DNA synthesizer is also specified on the Technical Data Sheet, to confirm the exact oligonucleotide sequence of the oligo you have received.
All reagents used for oligonucleotide synthesis are extensively quality controlled as described in the Glen Research catalogue.
