Spotting on Nylon Membranes
We can print up to 2304 oligonucleotides and PCR products in duplicate onto positively charged nylon membranes of 12 x 8 cm.
We require 20 microliter of biological solution in 96-well or 384-well plates at the concentration ranging from 100 to 500 ng / microliter. We use 384 printhead to spot simultaneously 384 oligonucleotides and PCR products.
The pins has a circular flat end point with a diameter of 0.4 or 0.7 mm.
The transfer of the PCR products and oligonucleotides takes place via multiple spotting with a 384 printhead. The DNA is permanently immobilized on membrane after multiple processes such as denaturing, washing, drying, backing and UV cross-linking. The membranes are labelled and shipped ready for hybridization experiment. They can be re-used up to 5 times.
