In cases where protein expression and peptide approaches are not suitable for antibody production, we also offer the generation of antibodies by Gene immunisation.
In collaboration with the company In-Cell-Art, we provide a nanosphere-based in vivo gene transfection system and optimised immunisation protocol to overcome most of the difficulties encountered when using traditional methods.
This approach is particularly interesting for the generation of antibodies against:
- Toxic proteins
- 3-dimensional epitopes rather than linear epitopes
- Membrane receptors or channels
- Proteins with post-translational modifications
- Secreted or intracellular proteins
