Immunise with plasmid DNA to get your antibodies

In cases where protein expression is not suitable for antibody production and where a peptide approach is also not suitable, we also offer the generation of antibodies by DNA immunisation. This method is equally good for the generation of polyclonal antibodies or monoclonal antibodies.

This approach is particularly interesting for the generation of antibodies against:

• toxic proteins
• 3-dimensional epitopes rather than linear epitopes
• difficult to purify proteins
• mutated non-naturally occuring proteins
