High resolution separation and identification services

The completion of the human genome project and the correlation between genetic sequence information and corresponding amino acid sequence information has opened up great potential in protein research. We offer a complete range of protein separation and identification services that can be tailored to your research goals, including high resolution 2D-NEPHGE based electrophoresis (Klose and Kobalz, Electrophoresis, 1995, 16, 1034-59) and protein identification by Edman sequencing and Mass Spectrometry. For addressing more complex problems such as target identification, or marker identification, complete proteomics projects including electrophoresis, gel matching and protein identification can be offered, customized to your needs.

We offer a number of protein separation services from simple 1D SDS-PAGE to high resolution 2D gels for comparing whole proteomes. From our gels or from yours, we also offer the identification of proteins from gel bands or spots by Maldi-Tof peptide mass fingerprinting or by ESI/MS/MS sequencing.
