This peptide is Histone H4 amino acid residues 1 to 23. It is dimethylated at lysine 20 with a C-terminal GG linker, followed by a biotinylated lysine. The dimethylation of histone H3 at lysine 20 is needed for Crb2 (fission yeast checkpoint protein) localization, checkpoint function, and cell survival after DNA damage.
