Bodipy® is an abbreviation for boron-dipyrromethene. Bodipy® is a family of Dyes characterized by a small Stokes shift, a narrow spectral profile and a high fluorescence. These fluorescent dyes are known for their environment-independent fluorescence quantum yields. They are conjugated post-synthesis to an amino-modified oligo as NHS Esters.
