Oregon Green®488 Fluorescent Dye exhibits a bright Green Fluorescent signal. This Fluorophore is a fluorinated analog to fluorescein and has a high extinction coefficient and fluorescence quantum yield. Oregon Green®488 is insensitive to pH in physiological pH range. Oregon Green®488-X contains a 7-atomaminohexanoyl spacer between the fluorophore and the succinimidyl ester group.

  • - Spin the tube briefly to collect the pellet in the bottom of the tube - Add an appropriate volume of recommended buffer (refer to technical data sheet) - Allow the tube to stand a few minutes - Vortex the tube for 15 seconds
